Clouds have been clearing out over the eastern side of KELOLAND this afternoon. Clear blue skies across the rest of the viewing area with temperatures in the 70s and 80s.
Late Saturday, thunderstorms look to slide through the northwest area of KELOLAND. Some of these could be severe with high winds and hail. Some of the weaker cells could grow far enough south to reach the Rapid City area, the Pierre area, and the Aberdeen area but most of the rain and storms look to be contained to the northwest and the north central areas.
Then Sunday, a cold front will move through the area and could spark up some strong storms. Some of these storms have the potential to be considered severe. Highs on Sunday reaching the 70s.
The next work week will start off cooler with highs in the mid-70s and slowly warming up to the 80s by Wednesday. The 2nd have of the week will cool down again with highs back in the 70s.
