The rest of round one of this weekend’s storms will continue their way northeast. During the overnight hours, these showers will slowly weaken and move out of the area. Lows tonight bottoming out in the 60s. Then the next round of showers and storms will start late Sunday morning and looks to take a similar route as today’s storms. The Storm Prediction has put much of KELOLAND in a slight chance for severe weather so keep the KELOLAND StormTracker app handy this weekend as it can keep you updated on severe weather.
The showers look last till Monday morning then we’ll see a break in the rain Tuesday before another round of showers make their way north Wednesday through Friday.
High temperatures tomorrow will range from the low 70s in the west, to the low 80s in the southeast. Now these high temperatures are highly dependent on storm flow. If these storms move slower than expected, we could see cooler than expected highs in the west but highs reaching the mid to upper 80s in the east. However if the storms move faster than expected, temps could be warmer in the west and cooler in the east.
Overall, we’ll see highs slowly cool down to the mid-60s to the low 70s by the end of next week.
