Storm Center Update - Saturday PM

March 22, 2014, 4:29 PM by Grant Smith

For tonight, clouds will roll out of the area leaving us with mostly clear to clear skies across KELOLAND. What snow that is falling in the Rapid City area will be gone by the early morning hours Sunday. Temperatures will once again drop down in the mid teens.

Sunday, we’ll be a little warmer, highs in the 30s. Clouds will build throughout the day as the next snow shower system approaches.

This snow event is coming early Monday. This will hit western, central, and southeastern South Dakota. As of now, snowfall amounts will be around one to three inches.

Afterwards, KELOLAND will slowly warm back up to the 40s and 50s by Wednesday. Chance for another rain/snow mix on Thursday leaving behind mostly cloudy skies Friday but Saturday will be much warmer, highs in the 50s and 60s.
