The windy weather from earlier in the day has now decreased and a nice day is forecast for much of KELOLAND on Sunday. Overnight lows will be in the teens across much of the east, with lows near 30 around Rapid City.
Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 50s in western KELOLAND and mid to upper 30s across the east. Overall, it should be nice day to enjoy a break from the excessive wind and cold spells.
Look for the next clipper to arrive on Monday with colder weather and light snow likely in eastern KELOLAND. We don’t expect heavy snow, but widespread light snow is likely.
Lows will be very cold again Tuesday morning, perhaps to -20 in Aberdeen. Highs Tuesday won’t be above 15 in many snow-covered areas of eastern KELOLAND, with warmer 20s and 30s West River. It looks like this trend will continue for much of week with a return of below normal temperatures.
