Earlier rains moved out but not before just a few got healthier rain totals. Spencer, Iowa received 1.39" of rain but Worthington only picked up 0.01".
There is another system heading east along our North Dakota border. That should shortly dive off to the south and bring light showers to some of our far eastern zones. Sioux Falls and Aberdeen look like they'll stay dry apart from maybe some drizzle. Still, I have included just a slim chance for evening rains for Sioux Falls since JazzFest is going on.
After tonight it's another return to heat for us. West River was hot today but will be even toastier tomorrow. This could lead to a stray storm in the Hills tomorrow but with only isolated coverage.
Tomorrow evening into early Monday, we've got a chance of drizzle for central and northeastern South Dakota. Winds will be out of the north and that could bring another faint chance of rain to the Hills Monday.
Wednesday a wave cuts across KELOLAND but looks to mainly impact central and south-central South Dakota at this time.
Friday and Saturday look like they could be cooler. There is a rain chance in your forecast both of these days but that's still quite a way off for things to change.
