Storm Center Update - Saturday PM
January 7, 2012, 7:26 PM
by Ben Cathey
Mild and dry weather last through the seven day forecast. A big chill is coming up shortly, but record temperatures come right before.
Tomorrow will be much the same as today, with a little bit more sunshine in many locations. Monday will be the record-tester. Aberdeen’s current record is 52 and we will be close to breaking that. You can expect more warmth on Tuesday, but a strong cold front comes Tuesday night. Though most will stay dry again (light snow is possible in the Black Hills), your commutes Wednesday will feel much more winter-like. It will be even colder Thursday East River, possibly even below normal for once.
A slow warming trend follows into next weekend.
