Today, highs in the upper 70s to low 80s for much of the state but there is a chance for more thundershowers to redevelop this afternoon. Good news, these are not expected to be severe. Most of the severe weather is expected to be to the east in Minnesota. Now that doesn’t mean a few cells won’t get too strong to be considered severe so keep an eye the weather just in case.
As the rain pushes to the east, it will take a lot of the upper level moisture with it so we can expect clearing skies tonight, lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Sunday, warmer, highs in the low 80s. A break in the rain and storms during the morning and early afternoon, but later on in the day, more moisture will be pushed back into KELOLAND so we do expect more thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening hours.
Once all that passes, high pressure will set up near KELOLAND so we can expect clearing skies and highs in the upper 70s next week.
