Storm Center Update - Saturday AM

May 31, 2014, 5:11 AM by Grant Smith

It’ll be a wet weekend as showers and thunderstorms move across KELOLAND. Slight chance for severe weather out west for Saturday then Sunday, the severe weather chances move to south central and southeast KELOLAND. Keep the KELOLAND StormTracker app handy this weekend as it can keep you updated on severe weather.

The showers look last till Monday then we’ll see a break in the rain Tuesday before another round of showers make their way north Wednesday through Friday.

High temperatures this weekend will range from the mid-70s in the west, to the low 80s in the east. Now these high temperatures are highly dependent on storm flow. If these storms move slower than expected, we could see cooler than expected highs in the west but highs reaching the mid to upper 80s in the east. However if the storms move faster than expected, temps could be warmer in the west and cooler in the east.

Overall, we’ll see highs slowly cool down to the mid-60s to the low 70s by the end of next week.
