The weekend looks like it is going to be a great weekend, temperatures in the 50s and 60s with a few shots of some showers and thunderstorms.
For Saturday, temperatures reaching around the 60 degree mark across KELOLAND with a band of thick clouds moving to the east. I wouldnt be surprised if a few sprinkles develop but not much is really expected. Winds generally from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph, little calmer in the west at 5 to 15 mph.
For overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, clouds will clear out then return as some showers and thunderstorms develop Sunday morning for central and northeastern South Dakota. The Sioux Falls area may see a few showers but as of now, the storms look to be concentrated to the north. Rapid City area looks to remain dry.
Once those showers move out, skies look to clear out to partly cloudy to mostly clear for the afternoon, highs a little cooler for the eastern side of the state, only reaching the mid-50s while the central and western KELOLAND will reach the low to mid-60s.
On and off rain chances for the start of the work week with highs in the low to mid 60s for majority of the state. Wednesday is our next chance to see some thunderstorms as a low pressure looks to move north from the Colorado area.
