Surface high pressure will be passing over KELOLAND today giving us mostly clear to clear skies as well as warmer weather Sunday. Saturday’s highs will be in the 20s in the eastern side of the state, central KELOLAND will be around 40 and 50s will be found in the west. Clear skies continue into the evening hours, lows in the mid to upper teens in the east ranging to the low 30s in the west.
Sunday looks to have a big warm up as southerly winds return. High temperatures in the mid-40s in the northeast, southeast looks to top out around 50 while central and western South Dakota will be in the 60s.
The next work week will feel like a roller coaster. Warmer weather will continue on Monday but a cold front on Tuesday looks to bring a wintery mix and drop temperatures back in the 30s for a day or two. The 2nd half of the week looks to be a slow warming trend where we will finish on Friday in the 40s and 50s.
