Storm Center Update - Saturday AM

December 25, 2010, 8:52 AM by Tony Barlow

Merry Christmas! It looks like a nice day across KELOLAND today. Clouds and flurries will hang around the east for the morning hours while the west will try to clear out a little sooner. We have had some fog reported for the Rapid City area and also in parts of eastern KELOLAND. Temperatures today will be pretty steady throughout the day especially in the east where sun will be hard to find.

Tomorrow should bring a little more sunshine to the area though temperatures will remain cold in the east. The start of the work week looks quiet with warming temperatures.

We are still watching a system for the end of the week and next weekend, though to be honest while the models are consistent with a storm coming, the timing and location are still very much up in the air. It still looks like something to watch closely though I wouldn’t change any major plans just yet.

Have a great day!
