Skies are partly sunny along and east of the James River Valley, while there are mostly sunny skies west of the James River Valley. Temperatures are in the low to middle seventies and will hold there through the late afternoon and early evening.
As the sun sets, clouds will slowly decrease across KELOLAND. Winds will remain light and temperatures will fall to the forties and fifties by Tuesday morning.
Tuesday will start with sunny skies, and then clouds will increase as the day goes on. Once again, the thickest clouds will be along and east of the James River Valley. Temperatures will be slightly warmer with highs in the upper seventies in eastern South Dakota to the low/middle eighties in central and western South Dakota.
The slow warming trend will continue through the work week with highs returning to the middle eighties and lower nineties for the weekend.
