Isolated showers and thundershowers will be possible late this afternoon and evening in northeast KELOLAND. Areas from Aberdeen to Watertown and east have the best chance for rain this evening. Any rain that develops will end later this evening with the setting of the sun. Skies will be partly cloudy for the overnight as temperatures fall to the fifties.
Tuesday will bring another round of showers and storms to KELOLAND. They will start in western South Dakota and move east during the afternoon. Some of the storms will be along and east of the James River Valley by three in the afternoon. Temperatures will be close to average with highs in the middle seventies.
The rain will continue Tuesday night and into Wednesday. By the time the rain ends on Wednesday evening, rain amounts of one to three inches will be possible in southern KELOLAND with amounts being far less in northern South Dakota. Highs on Wednesday will be in the lower seventies.
Temperatures will remain in the sixties and seventies for the remainder of the seven day forecast. There’s also another round on rain in the forecast for the weekend.
