Storm Center Update - Monday PM

May 5, 2014, 2:27 PM by Scot Mundt

Clouds will slowly increase through the evening and tonight with periods of rain possible in western and north central South Dakota.  Lows will fall to the forties tonight with light east winds.

Winds will become breezy for Tuesday with speeds of fifteen to twenty-five miles per hour from the southeast.  Some of the rain showers will last into Tuesday with a twenty to forty percent chance to get wet.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the sixties to near seventy degrees.

The rain chances will continue Wednesday through the weekend.  The best chance for widespread rain will be Wednesday night into Thursday.  Along with the widespread rain, temperatures will be cooler with highs in the fifties and sixties.  While temperatures will slowly warm for the weekend, we’ll still have scattered showers and storms.
