Skies will remain mostly clear this evening and tonight and winds will eventually die down. Lows tonight will fall to the twenties to near thirty degrees.
Tuesday will be a little cooler but still above average with afternoon highs in the forties and fifties. Winds will not be as strong either.
Wednesday will feature another surge of warm air with widespread fifties and sixties likely, but the downward trend will start on Thursday and last through the weekend. Along with the colder air, snow will be possible on Friday as a weak disturbance rolls through Nebraska. Any snow that falls will help keep the cold air around for this weekend. With a stronger push of cold air on Sunday, another round of light snow will be possible in eastern KELOLAND as central and western South Dakota stay dry. Highs this weekend will be in the twenties and thirties.
