Storm Center Update - Monday PM
February 21, 2011, 4:42 PM
Isolated snow showers will come to an end this evening with skies becoming clear to partly cloudy. Lows will fall well below average with temperatures in the single digits above and below zero.
Even with sunshine Tuesday, temperatures will remain below average with highs ranging from the lower twenties in northern KELOLAND to the middle/upper 30s in the west. We’ll squeeze in another day with temperatures in the 20s and 30s on Wednesday before an outbreak of cold air moves in on Thursday.
Thursday’s temperatures will only hit the single digits and teens for highs as another round of snow moves into western South Dakota. At least this round of snow will not be as heavy as what we went through over the weekend. The snow will move into eastern KELOLAND Friday as temperatures remain in the single digits and teens.
Lingering light snow will be possible on Saturday, but Sunday is looking dry. Temperatures will remain below average with highs in the teens and 20s.
