It will be a quiet day in KELOLAND with highs warming to the upper seventies to low eighties. Winds will remain light with speeds of five to fifteen miles per hour. The only exception to the quiet weather day is western South Dakota. There have been a couple of light showers in and near Rapid City this morning, but they’ve been staying light with rain amounts less than a tenth of an inch. The light rain will go away during the morning, but redeveloping showers and thundershowers will be possible after 5:00.
Any clouds this evening will go away for the overnight as temperatures fall to the fifties.
Tuesday will bring a slight chance for showers and thundershowers to all of KELOLAND. We’re holding the chance at twenty percent. Strong to severe storms are not expected. Highs on Tuesday will be much like today, seventies to near eighty.
Active weather returns midweek with storm chances increasing from west to east. Along with the rain chance, temperatures will slowly return to the low to middle eighties.
