Strong upper level area of high pressure to the west will help keep the chances for storms at a minimum as we go into the weekend. However, a surface low pressure looks to pass right over KELOLAND early next week that will bring showers and storms.
For Friday night, what showers that did develop this afternoon will fade away relatively quickly once the sun goes down. Lows tonight cooling to around 60 degrees.
For the weekend, mostly clear across the area with highs slowly rising, low to mid 80s for eastern KELOLAND, central and western parts will be around 90.
Beginning of next week, a low pressure will move over so we could see showers and storms as early as late Monday and Wednesday with a few showers leftover on Thursday as the low pressure spins around. The highest chance for storms is on Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures will all be cooler, only reaching the upper 70s to low 80s for most of the week.
