Storm Center Update - Friday PM

May 23, 2014, 2:58 PM by Scot Mundt

Memorial Weekend will feature scattered showers and storms with highs remaining in the seventies and eighties through Memorial Day.  The best bet to get wet is Sunday as models are trending at widespread rain.  Rain amounts through Monday are averaging a tenth of an inch to as much as three-quarters of an inch.  But any storms that fire may create locally heavy rain.

The warmth will continue through next week with highs mainly in the eighties.  Rain will be hard to come by as we go through much of next week, so be sure to soak up whatever moisture you can get this weekend.
