Storm Center Update - Friday PM

March 14, 2014, 4:04 PM by Grant Smith

For Friday night into Saturday, expect winds to calm down and clouds to build up ahead of the wintry mix system that is on the way. Lows to bottom out around 30 for central and southeast KELOLAND, northeast KELOLAND could see mid 20s and the west will see around 40.

Saturday brings a wintry mix. Snow looks to arrive in the northeast first in the late morning and everywhere else will see the rain and snow mix make its way across the state and be out of KELOLAND by early morning Sunday. This system will be widespread and scattered. Light precipitation amounts are expected however the Aberdeen area could see up to one to two inches of snow.

Once that is gone, Sunday is looking to pan out nicely. Mostly clear skies with mid to upper 30s in the east and 40s and 50s in central and west KELOLAND.
