Clearing skies will move into eastern South Dakota, Minnesota, and northwest Iowa late this afternoon and evening. Along with the clear skies, winds will shift to the west/northwest at ten to fifteen miles per hour. Those winds will continue through the overnight with partly cloudy skies. Lows will fall to the teens and lower twenties by sunrise.
Saturday will be sunny and above average. Highs will reach the lower thirties in eastern South Dakota to neat forty in Pierre and near fifty in Rapid City. Winds will be from the west at ten to fifteen miles per hour.
Winds will increase on Sunday and so will the temperatures. Highs on Sunday will warm to near forty in eastern South Dakota to the forties in central KELOLAND and near fifty in Rapid City.
The warmer air and dry skies will continue into Monday, but cooler temperatures will return on Tuesday and last into Thursday.
