Snow will slowly come to an end as we head into the evening hours. Amounts from last night and this morning have ranged from three to six inches in Butte and Meade Counties in western KELOLAND to an inch in parts of southeast KELOLAND.
Another system will move through Saturday afternoon and night. This one will give northeast KELOLAND the heaviest snow. There are already Winter Storm Watches out in north central and northeast South Dakota for Saturday afternoon through noon Sunday. This is an area that will have snow amounts of two to six inches with strong northwest winds. Be aware of the weather with any travel plans in northeast South Dakota this weekend.
Once this moves through, cold air will take hold. Highs for next week will remain in the twenties and thirties.
