Surface low pressure continues to deliver showers and a few storms to KELOLAND this Friday morning. The storms on the radar this morning are expected to slowly fade away as the morning goes on but redevelopment of more showers is expected this afternoon. Today is a good day to keep an eye on the radar using your KELO StormTracker smart phone app. That way you can stay ahead of the weather. Today’s highs will be highly dependent on the rain and cloud cover but highs in the low to mid 80s are expected.
Overnight Friday into Saturday, the rain looks to continue. Depending on exactly where the line of rain sets up, some area could see rain for most of the night. Areas with the best chances are in central KELOLAND down to southeast KELOLAND. Lows tonight cooling down to the mid to upper 60s, lows 60s could be found in the west.
The weekend in KELOLAND will continue to have showers. The overall set up will be good for rain and showers to continue. Sunday though, chances for showers go down so we could see clearing skies on Sunday. Highs this weekend will be in the low to mid 80s. Some areas in the west could see upper 80s.
Next week, more showers could develop and move through on Monday. Leftover showers continue for the Sioux Falls area Tuesday and Wednesday, everywhere else could see clearing skies. High next week will be warming up to the low 80s for the east, central and western KELOLAND will reach the mid to upper 80s.
