Storm Center Update - Friday AM

July 18, 2014, 3:23 AM by Grant Smith

Another mostly clear day for KELOLAND. Friday highs reaching the low to mid 80s for the eastern side of the state, central and western KELOLAND will reach the low 90s. Gusty southerly winds this afternoon with sustained winds 15 to 25 mph.

There is a weak cool front that will move through the area. This front could be just enough lift to allow some brief showers in the late afternoon into the evening for central and northeastern KELOLAND. Current timing has the rain fading out before reaching the Sioux Falls and surrounding area. Western KELOLAND could see some rain redevelop and move in from Wyoming during the overnight hours.

Saturday looks to be slightly warmer, mid to upper 80s for the eastern side of the state and central and western KELOLAND will be in the low to mid 90s.
