Happy 4th of July and Happy Friday. Surface high pressure to the east will force warm air and more moisture in KELOLAND. This extra moisture and heat brings a slight chance for storms today with highs in the low to mid-80s in the east while central and western KELOLAND will top out in the upper 80s to low 90s. Breezy winds for central and eastern KELOLAND with winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts in the 30s.
Skies clearing out evening and overnight with lows cooling down to the mid-60s.
As that high moves to east, the warm air will continue being pushed into KELOLAND, so the weekend looks to be warmer, highs in the 90s for much of KELOLAND along with mostly clear skies.
The next work week brings cooler highs because our main weather maker will be a low pressure to the north that will push that warm air out of KELOLAND so highs will be topping out in the low to mid 80s with on and off thundershowers.
