Happy Friday! It’ll be a warm day out there with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s and some areas will break that 90 degree mark. Good news is humidity will be down and we’ll have mostly clear skies across KELOLAND today.
For tonight, we’ll cool down to the upper 50s to low 60s across the state. There looks to be some storm development in the northern part of Nebraska and there is a chance those storms could move into the southeast corner of KELOLAND. Otherwise, mostly clear skies overnight.
The weekend brings more chances of storms and some could grow strong enough to be considered severe. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a slight chance for severe weather for parts of KELOLAND Saturday. Main threats are high winds and large hail.
Once the work week starts, we’ll see storm chances go down till middle of next week. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
