After purchasing a few extra stocking stuffers, Jamie Swift is officially done with her Christmas shopping.
"It gets a little expensive towards the end if I just wait and so it helps to just do it a little bit at a time," Swift said.
But for those of you who aren't quite done with your shopping, you're still in luck. Many stores are still slashing some of their prices at The Empire Mall in preparation for Super Saturday sales.
"The mall is a really great place for people to come to do last minute shopping or just find a gift for everyone. We have a lot of different variety. There's a lot if stores that have a lot of great last-minute deals, so this weekend is crucial for people to come out and get those last-minute deals right before Christmas," Empire Mall Spokesperson Jennifer Morrison said.
Super Saturday may not have the same hype as Black Friday but it can sometimes see even larger crowds.
"I think that this will be a really great weekend for everybody. We did have a shorter shopping season this year because Thanksgiving was so late," Morrison said.
Business has been steady over at Kidtopia. Owner Sheryl Nelson says it's very important they get a lot of traffic during the holiday shopping season.
"During the year, we make ends meet, so this is our main time of the year. We do more in three months in sales at Christmas than we do the rest of the year," Nelson said.
But she says even though it's busy, it's more fun than it is stressful.
"Everybody is finding that perfect gift for their child and it's just a fun, magical time," Nelson said.
