Stocking Stuffing Business

December 6, 2012, 9:50 PM by Angela Kennecke

Stocking Stuffing Business
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

You know the drill; every year at this time you run around trying to find little presents and candy to fill up the Christmas stockings.

Now, a local entrepreneur wants to make it easy for you.

Plenty of people go online to avoid the crowds and hassles this holiday season. Entrepreneur Paul Cross is hoping people will want to click their way to a filled stocking as well.

"I know it takes a long time and a lot of money to go through and find the stocking stuffers. I thought this would be a way to save people both time and money," Cross said.

Cross' website, Mr.Bundler.com offers stockings for children and adults alike.

"We have up to eight gifts on the customizable stockings and we have other options too," Cross said.

Don't know what to pick? Cross is also offering an "instant stocking."

"The idea here is you come on, you say I've got a girl. In this case maybe eight years old and here's a pack for it. The stocking is in here, all you have to do is open it and fill the stocking. This gives you the opportunity to easily add items of your own if you want to stuff in there," Cross said.

The stockings on Mr.Bundler.com run $9 for a small one and $20 for a '19 inch stocking. And Cross thinks it's a great way to send a stocking to a relative or friends far away.

“When they get it, if you're sending it as a gift across the country, they would get it they would say, ‘Oh look a stocking and everything is in there;’ it's kind of fun," Cross said.

If Mr.Bundler.com takes off, Cross would also like to open a retail location over the holiday season.

"People could actually look at the items and stuff them in the stockings themselves which would be fun for people, instead of me having all the fun stuffing them, right?"  Cross said.

Cross says if his 'bundling" idea takes off; he may try it with school supplies as well.
