State Fair organizers have announced the theme and logo for this year's event.
The theme for the fair will be "Starry Nights and Midway Lights."
State Fair Manager Jerome Hertel says organizers chose the theme to play off of the carnival and entertainment lineup in the marketing.
The 2013 State Fair will run from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2.
Concert announcements will be released starting the week of Feb. 11.
