The heat isn't stopping the South Dakota State Fair.
When the gates open for Wednesday night's preview, there will be plenty of places to keep cool.
The fair manager says there are a handful of air conditioned buildings. Those that don't have air conditioning will have extra fans, including some that circulate water into the air.
They've brought in extra water for livestock. Plus fair workers will be on the lookout for anyone who may be struggling with the heat, and if needed, they'll be ready to hand out bottles of water at every gate.
