A day-long standoff in Marion, SD ended Monday night.
The Turner County Sheriff's Department says the suspect surrendered peacefully to authorities around 10:30 pm Monday.
No one was hurt.
Authorities say the suspect has been arrested.
The initial call came in at 9 a.m. Monday saying a person had barricaded himself in his grandmother's house. The suspect's grandmother and a cousin were inside at the time.
Around 4:30 p.m. the suspect released the teen hostage. Earlier in the day, the grandmother was let out of the house, as well.
