Sioux Falls police had extra officers on-duty overnight to keep St. Patrick's Day revelry from taking a dangerous turn behind the wheel.
Officers arrested a dozen people for driving under the influence during a saturation from 8:00 Saturday night to 4:30 Sunday morning.
Officers made more than 100 traffic stops during that time.
