Spink County State's Attorney Sentenced In Drunk Driving Case
Victor Fischbach, 2009

It's his job to make sure drunk drivers face consequences for the crime.  But the Spink County State's Attorney faces consequences of his own.

A judge revoked Victor Fischbach's driver's license for 30 days after he pleaded guilty to driving drunk.  Authorities arrested him earlier this month on a rural road northeast of Mellette.

His jail time is suspended.  He must pay a $400 fine, plus $84 in court costs and $145 for blood testing fees.

In addition to prosecuting cases in Spink County, Fischbach is also the president of the South Dakota State's Attorney's Association.
