Spearfish Teen Steals Car, Leads Sioux Falls Police On Chase
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A Spearfish teen is in trouble for stealing a car and leading Sioux Falls Police on a chase.

Authorities say the 16-year-old girl was on her way to the Minnehaha County Juvenile Detention Center, when she pushed a corrections officer and ran off.

Following an hour-long search, police received a call of a stolen car.

When they caught up with it, the teen was in the driver's seat and refused to stop.

Police say they eventually caught up with her across town when she got the car stuck on a snow bank.
