South Dakota Ranks Low For Road Trips
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Rushmore state is getting low marks for road trips.  A new list ranks the best and worst states to travel by car, and South Dakota comes in at number 40.

WalletHub looked at several factors, including attractions, traffic conditions and gas prices.  South Dakota got the lowest marks in the country for fun and scenic attractions.  It made the top ten for weather conditions and the cost of gas and hotel rooms. 

WalletHub ranked North Dakota 43rd.  Minnesota came in 3rd and Iowa and Wyoming tied for 22nd.
