South Dakota Manufacturer Doubles Plant Size

A plastics manufacturer, headquartered in Brookings, South Dakota, is doubling one of its plants. 

Falcon Plastics was started in 1975 by Don and Carol Bender in Brookings. The company now has two facilities in Brookings, as well as Madison, South Dakota, Tennessee and China. 

Falcon makes the plastic for a variety of products used all over the world, from medical devices to household items. 

Falcon is doubling the size of its facility off Interstate 29 in Brookings by another 60,000 square feet.

Falcon Plastics employs more than 90 people in Brookings.
