A South Dakota man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for sexual abuse.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson announced Thursday that 27-year-old David Low Dog, of Eagle Butte, was sentenced earlier this week for the July 9, 2011, incident.
Prosecutors say Low Dog entered a house in Eagle Butte and engaged in an unlawful sexual act.
Low Dog pleaded guilty to the charge in September.
