State "AA" Tournament
Championship Semifinals
O'Gorman 50 vs. Brandon Valley 45
Sioux Falls O'Gorman will be playing for the Class AA boys state basketball crown for a second straight season. The Knights defeated top-seeded Brandon Valley 50-45 Friday night to advance into the championship game. 

O'Gorman is the defending state champion and will play in the title game against Aberdeen Central. 

Nate Truex scored 18 points in the O'Gorman win. Dale Moss had 15 for Brandon Valley.

Aberdeen Central 59 vs. Lincoln 49
Aberdeen Central topped Sioux Falls Lincoln 59-49 Friday night in the semifinals of the Class AA boys state basketball tournament. 

The win sends the Golden Eagles into the championship game Saturday night against Sioux Falls O'Gorman. 

Michael Babcock scored 17 points to lead Aberdeen, while Mike Pajor scored 16 and Chris Schwartz 15 for Lincoln. 

Aberdeen took control early and led by 16 points in the third period. Lincoln came back within three points but couldn't get any closer. 

Lincoln and Brandon Valley will play for third place.

State "A" Tournament
Championship Semifinals 
St. Thomas More 65 vs. Madison 54
Defending champion St. Thomas More defeated Madison 65-54 Friday night to move into the championship game of the Class A boys state basketball tournament. 

Nathan Jacobson led four double-figure scorers for the winning Cavaliers with 19 points. 

Brady Wiebe had 18 points for Madison. 

St. Thomas More plays for the title Saturday night against Little Wound.

Little Wound 63 vs. Parkston 58
Little Wound advanced into the championship game by defeating Parkston 63-58 Friday night in the semifinals of the Class A boys state basketball tournament. 

The loss was the first of the year for Parkston. 

Little Wound will play defending champion St. Thomas More in the championship game Saturday night. 

Brice Hornbeck scored 14 points and T.J. McCauley 12 for Little Wound. 

Matt Malloy topped all scorers with 31 points for Parkston.

Championship Semifinals
Mitchell Christian 52 vs. Sully Buttes 35
Mitchell Christian punched its ticket to the title tilt of the Class B boys state basketball tournament Friday night, beating Sully Buttes 52-35.

The Golden Eagles' Pat Geraets scored a team-high 14 points in the victory.  Alex Borman and Jared Odens chipped-in with a dozen points apiece.

The Chargers' Weston Kusser tallied a game-high 16 points in the loss.

Mitchell Christian will play for the state B championship Saturday night against Hurley.

Hurley 65 vs. White River 61
Hurley and Mitchell Christian will play for the title Saturday night in the South Dakota Class 'B' boys basketball tournament in Aberdeen. 

Hurley sidelined White River and the Tigers' prolific scorer, Louie Krogman, 65-61. 

White River built a big lead and went into the locker room at halftime, up 37-25. But the Bulldogs outscored White River 40-24 in the final two quarters. 

Heath Hult led the way with 22 points for Hurley, 19-6 on the season. Coulter Boyer added 19 points and 13 of his team's 39 rebounds. 

Krogman tallied 35 points and moved into second place on the state's all-time scoring list, passing Wakonda's Milt Sorenson (2,577 points).
