The 3.6 inches of snow Sioux Falls received on Tuesday has helped KELOLAND Weather inch closer to its prediction of 31.2 inches.
Sioux Falls officially sits at 8.7 inches, that's not only a quarter of what I predicted for the season but it's half of what we had all of last year.
While the snow skipped much of northeast, central and western KELOLAND, Aberdeen is about a third of the way to the prediction and Pierre is almost half-way. Western KELOLAND still needs moisture; Rapid City is 15 percent of the way there.
Earlier in the week, it looked like heavy snow was taking aim on KELOLAND but now that storm will be too far to our south.
