Sioux Falls plows are out, working to clear the latest snow from streets across the city.
The street department has issued a snow alert. Plowing of Emergency Snow Routes began has already started and will continue until routes are clear. Any vehicle parked along an Emergency Snow Route is subject to ticketing and towing.
Plows will then move on to Zone 3 starting Friday morning. Crews will target east/west streets in Zone 2 starting at 8 p.m. On Saturday, February 23, 2013, plowing of north/south streets will begin at 8 a.m.
Work in Zone 1 will begin at 1 a.m., Sunday, February 24, 2013. Any vehicles parked in Zone 1 will be subject to ticketing and towing between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.
