A South Dakota woman who was found slain in a shed on a farmstead near Chamberlain a week ago has been laid to rest.
About 150 people turned out Wednesday for the funeral of 26-year-old Crystal Schulz in Mitchell. The Rev. John Hansen said Schulz will be remembered for the difference she made in many people's lives.
Schulz worked at a private residential treatment facility for girls. She was found slain on March 14.
No one has been charged in her death, though a man arrested after walking away from a minimum-security prison in Rapid City has been questioned and the state attorney general's office says additional charges are anticipated.
