Sioux Falls Stabbing

August 23, 2014, 7:08 AM by Perry Groten

Sioux Falls Stabbing
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Police are investigating a stabbing in northwest Sioux Falls that sent a woman to the hospital Friday night.

Police were called to a mobile home on South Plucker Place near Legacy Park around 9:30 p.m.

Officers say it started as an argument between a mother and her daughter.

Police say 25-year-old Angel Young Running Crane then stabbed her mother on the right arm and hand with a 12-inch butcher knife.

Police say the victim's cuts went to the bone, but she is expected to recover.

Young Running Crane is charged with aggravated assault domestic.
