An early morning stabbing in Sioux Falls sent a woman to the hospital and her husband to jail, charged with aggravated assault.
Police were called to the area of 41st Street and South Kelly Avenue around 4:30 am where they found the woman with three stab wounds to her chest and abdomen.
Officers found the suspect, Duc N. Pham, behind the Last Stop CD Shop being restrained by a male acquaintance of the woman.
Police say Pham had been waiting in a nearby car lot, armed with two knives, and came sprinting across the lot as the woman and her acquaintance got out of a car. Police say Pham attacked the two, and the male acquaintance was able to get Pham pinned down.
The man suffered a stab wound to his shoulder, but both he and the woman are expected to recover.
