Sioux Falls Stabbing

SIOUX FALLS, SD - Police are investigating an early morning stabbing in north Sioux Falls.
Officers responded to a residence on North Indiana Avenue, one block from The Banquet, just after 2:15 am Saturday.
They found a 36-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest and left arm.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but police expect him to recover.
Investigators are questioning witnesses, but so far, no arrests.

Authorities said a 16-year-old student fired a gun at the school Wednesday morning. Law enforcement said the injury was a flesh wound.

"I can't speak highly enough of what kind of person that is," Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens said.

Authorities did not identify the victim, but described him as a 16 year old from Minnehaha County.

The teenager found dead on Interstate 90 has been identified as an O'Gorman High School student.

At 10:45 p.m. Thursday, deputies found a body at Interstate 90 and North Kiwanis Avenue, near the Interstate 29 interchange.
