Sioux Falls Police Respond To Car vs. Pedestrian Crash
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Sioux Falls Police say a 43-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a vehicle near 18th Street and Sycamore Avenue.

Our KELOLAND News crew on the scene said a backpack and some clothes could be seen in the middle of the street where the crash happened.

Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens says police were called to the scene around 7 a.m. Friday.

Part of the area is blocked off as authorities reconstruct the scene. The southbound lane of Sycamore Avenue from 10th Street to 16th Street is closed. The northbound lane is open.

Clemens says the man's name is not being released until all family is notified.
