Police are getting more tips in connection with a Sioux Falls homicide. Since it's now been nearly a week since 56-year-old Kari Kirkegaard was killed in her home, police hope those calls keep coming in.
Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens says people who say they recognize the man in the surveillance video have called in possible names.
Others have called in tips about abandoned bicycles, which the suspect may have ridden to and from the crime scene.
There have also been calls about bedding, which may have been taken from the victim's home and the dark blue Ford Explorer, which he is believed to have driven around town before sunrise on Saturday morning.
Some of those tips have been ruled out; others have helped focus the case.
Authorities are still waiting on autopsy results.
