Sioux Falls Police Offer Citizen's Academy

If you've ever wondered what it's like to be a police officer, now's your chance.

The Sioux Falls Police Department is hosting a Citizen's Academy after the first of the year.  It allows citizens to learn a number of things including police procedures, K9 operations and how 911 calls are processed.

The ten-week session will be held Thursday nights beginning January 10.  Participants must be at least 18-years-old.

Applications are available online and are due by December 14.
