A Sioux Falls man faces a long list of charges after a string of crimes.
Police initially caught up with James Wolfe at the Family Dollar on West 9th Street. Workers said he was drunk and knocking things off shelves.
When police got him outside, they realized there was a warrant for his arrest. They also discovered Wolfe had stolen a candy bar and two flashlight key chains.
They soon found out those weren't his only crimes. Four hours later, police got a call from a woman who reported Wolfe had stolen her rental car.
Police say he turned in her keys when he went to jail and is charged with grand theft auto.
Another woman contacted authorities saying Wolfe violated a protection order Wednesday by calling and texting her 20 times.
