A four-month-old Sioux City girl is dead and her father has been arrested on charges related to her death.
Emergency workers responded to a report of a child not breathing Wednesday morning. The girl, Tryniti Hill, was transferred by helicopter to Children's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, where she died.
Sioux City police say Hill suffered multiple injuries. An autopsy is pending.
Police say her father, 19-year-old Paul Hill, was arrested in Omaha on a charge of child endangerment resulting in death. They say he called 911.
Tryniti Hill's mother was not home at the time.
Paul Hill is being held in the Douglas County, Nebraska, jail awaiting extradition to Iowa.
