SIBLEY, IA -
The tornado that ripped through Little Rock and Sibley, Iowa, Friday was an EF4. The National Weather Service survey teams rated the storm, which had winds between 166-200 miles per hour.
The National Weather Service says a supercell developed in Western Nobles County, Minnesota, and moved into far Northern Iowa produced the tornado. It brough significant damage to Little Rock and Sibley, Iowa. Several buildings and homes were damaged in the area.
